BioeXsen Respiratory RT-qPCR MX-24 Panel is a one-step reverse transcription and real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) test intended for the presumptive qualitative detection of the viral and bacterial agents given below. The kit allows the achievement of RT-qPCR results in 60 minutes (Run time may vary depending on the instrument).
Respiratory tract infections (RTIs) are one of the most common disease types seen around the world. From mild to severe symptoms and even death, RTI account for a large percentage of all occupational disease mortality. The high number of causative agents makes RTIs problematic for accurately diagnosing and preventing early and targeted treatment initiation. Unless diagnosed quickly, patients and public health might be at risk. Especially in children, seniors, and individuals with underlying medical conditions, late diagnosis arises the risk of death.
